Striking craggy peaks, endless trails and charming huts serving delectable specialities make the Dolomites a paradise for hikers and nature lovers from near and far. Summer or winter, our comfortable designer apartments are the perfect starting point for exploring this unique mountainscape. Simply set off, and make time along the way to pause and take in the soul-stirring majesty of this backdrop.

Winter walks

Quiet, soothing, simply fabulous – if you are seeking idyllic scenery for a leisurely winter hike, few places on Earth are better than the snow-covered Lüsner Alp!

Skiing

The Rungg practice ski slope right next to your holiday apartments has plenty to offer for beginners of all age groups, including ski instructors, ski hire and a magic carpet for children. For those who are past the basics and looking for a challenge, the Plose ski resort near Brixen is just 15 kilometres away and easily reached by ski bus (the bus stop is right in front of our farmstead).

Sledging

There are several sledge runs in an around Lüsen offering fun and adventure for the whole family, from steep descents to more leisurely options. You can even sledge your way downhill from the Kreuzwiesenalm hut. A great way to add fun to your winter holiday in South Tyrol!

Snowshoeing

Snowshoeing through the sparkling deep snow is possibly one of the best ways to experience the Dolomites’ snowscape at its most charming, immersing yourself in the stillness and soaking up nature’s silent power.

Cross-country skiing

50 kilometres of perfectly groomed trails are at your fingertips, here in Lüsen. Whether you prefer the classic or skating style, the impressive mountain scenery will make your winter holiday an unforgettable one!

Walking and hiking

Swimming

At the back of our farmhouse, there is a swimming pool where you can swim a few lengths and spend some peaceful hours relaxing under the sun. The natural bathing pond in Lüsen is perfect for families, offering plenty of opportunities for rest, recreation and splashing fun.

Sport & leisure

Right next to the natural bathing pond, there is a playground with table tennis, a tennis court and a football area, offering children and teens all the exercise and fun they can wish for.

Get to know South Tyrol’s diverse culture with traditional festivals, delicious food events and live music. Museums and exhibitions provide the perfect alternatives on a rainy day.

Brixen

Situated a 20-minute drive from Zalnerhof, Brixen is the oldest town in South Tyrol. Visit its cathedral, museums and sacred places, indulge in a shopping tour along its winding streets and savour the unique blend of historical charm and contemporary lifestyle.
