Lüsen – a valley for hiking fans in Dolomites

One of the most primeval and virtually untouched Dolomite valleys is certainly the village Lüsen. Located in the shadow of some of the largest tourism spots, the valley for fans of hiking was not disturbed for a long time. But the residents truly dedicated themselves to “slow-paced tourism”. Free of obstructing ski mountains and fun parks, but providing nature that is accessible by foot. Whether in the valley or on the mountain, in the pasture area of Lüsner Alm or at the head of the valley under the summit of Peitlerkofel, the hiking is an incomparable pleasant activity.

The pasture Area of Lüsner Alm is the largest in South Tyrol and even the pasture area of Seiser Alm (the biggest high alpine area in Europe) the second biggest in South Tyrol. Over 2000ha of pasture areas, mountain meadows, grasslands with larches, arched cottages and Alpine herdsmen and dairymen.

Animated by cheerful and musical people, Lüsen is the destination of vacation bliss!

The ski & recreation area of Plose is about 20 min away: FREE SKI BUS from the Zalnerhof! A T-bar with a ski run for children is only a few steps away! Children’s eyes will be wide!
